| The Loudoun County Store has four new items in stock. The Loudoun County wine glass is etched with the county seal, and comes in sets of four priced at $49.00 or $13.00 a glass. A pewter rotating key chain with the county seal and county outline is priced at $8.50. Loudoun County T-shirts are available for men in asphalt or navy and for women in aqua or asphalt. They are priced at $10.00. A fleece stadium blanket with the words "Loudoun County, Virginia" and the coat of arms, comes in charcoal or black and is priced at $17.50.
Items still available at the store include the book, The Lure of Loudoun: Centuries of Change in Virginia's Emerald County by Noel Grove and Charles P. Poland, Jr. ($47.25, tax included.)
Published by the Loudoun Museum in commemoration of Loudoun County's 250th anniversary, The Lure of Loudoun is a diary in pictures and text of one of the nation's fastest growing counties. Other 250th anniversary-related items include:
- A 12-ounce ceramic mug with the 250th Anniversary logo.
- Loudoun County bears, wearing Loudoun County T-shirts with "1757-2007" on the front.
The store also features items with the Loudoun County seal or insignia such as bookmarks, shirts, canvas briefcases and canvas tote bags.
Prices range from $2.30 for a leather bookmark to $21 for a tote bag to $33 for a fleece shirt. Current and retired county employees receive a discount.
