  • A special afternoon schedule for Thursday, July 2, 2009, is online. link to .pdf   There will be several early-out buses on Thursday, July 2.  On the Long Haul afternoon service, the Midday (MD1), DS1, LC18, LC19, LC23 and LC37 will not run.  The LC36 will pick up in Rosslyn.  There is no change to the regular afternoon schedule for the Cascades and Reverse Commute services but there is an addition of an early afternoon bus for both services. There is no change to the Thursday morning schedule. 

    There will be no LC Transit Commuter Bus Service on Friday, July 3, 2009, in observance of the July 4th holiday.

Loudoun County Transit operates rush hour service from park and ride lots in Loudoun to destinations that include West Falls Church Metro, Rosslyn, the Pentagon, and Washington, D.C. Loudoun County Transit also provides service from West Falls Church Metro to employment sites in Eastern Loudoun County.

The county communicates with riders of the commuter bus service through text messaging and e-mails.

Passengers receive real-time text messages and e-mails via the LC Alert system, informing them of late arriving buses or detours that impact service. Ever been standing at the bus stop wondering if your bus is late or if you missed it?
