Meetings of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors are normally held on the first and third Tuesday of the month, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room of the Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street, S.E. in Leesburg. The Board's monthly public hearings are held on the Monday following the first business meeting, at 6:30 p.m.
The Board holds public input meetings beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the Monday preceding each business meeting. The schedule is intended to allow more members of the public to provide comment to the Board.
The meetings are televised on Comcast Channel 23, the Loudoun County government access cable channel, Verizon FiOS Channel 40, and Open Band Channel 18. The broadcasts are also available for viewing live through streaming video on the Internet at www.loudoun.gov/webcast and are archived for later on-demand viewing here.
Television coverage of Board meetings and public hearings is closed-captioned for the hearing impaired. Closed-captioning allows people who are deaf or hard of hearing to follow the meetings by showing a transcript of speakers’ comments at the bottom of the screen. To view the captions, viewers must have a television set that is a 1993 model or newer. Viewers should follow the instructions in their television owner's manual to access the captions.
Board committee meetings and workshops are held at times and places determined by the Board.
In general, Board meetings, public hearings, Board committee meetings and workshops are open to the public. The dates of these meetings are posted on the Loudoun County Government Master Calendar. However, the Board sometimes schedules executive sessions to discuss issues relating to personnel, legal matters or land acquisition. These meetings are closed to the public.

Regular Board meetings are held in the Board of Supervisors meeting room, on the ground floor of the County Government Center, which is located at 1 Harrison Street, S.E., in Leesburg.
