Department of Economic Development

The Loudoun County Department of Economic Development works with key partners to encourage continuing business investment and development in the community. Guided by the Board of Supervisors' Strategic Economic Development Plan, the department strives to ensure that Loudoun is an innovative, globally competitive community known for its favorable business environment, exceptional quality of place and strong sense of community.

Services include business and decision-making data and research, ombudsman services and navigation through government processes, site and building selection assistance, and connection into the Loudoun business community.

The department also works with its partners to increase the vitality and success of Loudoun's three distinct geographies - suburban communities and office parks, historic towns and villages, and rural countryside.
