Loudoun County Store

Just in time for the 2009 holidays, the Loudoun County Store has new gift items available: the Four Seasons of Loudoun note cards and new Loudoun County apparel! The cards feature seasonal scenes of Loudoun, including the Loudoun County Courthouse in winter and a colorful, tree-lined lane in autumn. The items of apparel include sweatshirts, fleece jackets and waterproof jackets.

    













The Loudoun County Store has many other gift items in stock, including t-shirts, golf shirts, tote bags and sun visors. Many of the items feature the Loudoun County seal or insignia.

Items still available at the store include the book, The Lure of Loudoun: Centuries of Change in Virginia's Emerald County by Noel Grove and Charles P. Poland, Jr. It's on sale for ($36.75, tax included.)

Published by the Loudoun Museum in commemoration of Loudoun County's 250th anniversary, The Lure of Loudoun is a diary in pictures and text of one of the nation's fastest growing counties. The book is richly illustrated with over 300 color and black-and-white images of Loudoun's landscapes, personalities, artifacts and historic documents.

Other unique items for sale include:

• The Loudoun County wine glass is etched with the county seal, and comes in sets of four.

• A pewter rotating key chain with the county seal and county outline

• Loudoun County T-shirts are available for men in asphalt or navy and for women in aqua or asphalt.

• A fleece stadium blanket with the words "Loudoun County, Virginia" and the coat of arms, comes in charcoal or black

• The Loudoun County crystal ornament, etched with the county seal, comes in a red velvet bag.

• The Loudoun County shot glass also displays the county seal. It comes with a black velvet bag.

• A 12-ounce ceramic mug with the 250th Anniversary logo.

Current and retired county employees receive a discount.

Here's how the store works. Stop by the lobby of the Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street, S.E. in Leesburg and check out our display case. When you've decided what you would like, just go to the Office of Mapping and Geographic Information on the 2nd floor to purchase the items.
