Supervisor Lori Waters

Lori Waters was elected to the Board of Supervisors representing the Broad Run District in November 2003, and was re-elected in 2007. She is Chairman of the Board of Supervisors' Economic Development Committee and also serves on the Board's Finance/Government Services and Operations Committee.   She represents Loudoun County on the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (COG), and the Route 28 Transportation Improvement District Commission. She also represents the Board of Supervisors on the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Board. A native of North Carolina, she graduated cum laude from Furman University with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. From 1997 to 2004, she worked for a pro-family, grassroots organization in Washington, D.C. While living in Alexandria, Va., she served on the Social Services Advisory Board and the Early Childhood Commission. She lives in Lansdowne with her husband Matt, daughter Leigh Anna and son Tyler. She is also involved with Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) in Ashburn. The Waters family attends Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg.  Map of Broad Run District
