The Loudoun County Department of Animal Care & Control is helping the Community Holiday Coalition by hosting a Pet Pantry - to provide donated pet food and supplies to families in need during the holiday season through the coalition's stores. Supplies will be provided for both cats and dogs. The Pet Pantry is supported by donations, and we are accepting donations of unopened pet food, treats, and new or gently used toys. Cat food is in especially high demand. Donations can be dropped off at the Loudoun County Animal Shelter or any of the Holiday Coalition collection sites.
The Pet Pantry is a project of the department's Companion Animal Resource Effort or C.A.R.E. program, which works year-round to assist low income families with pet care needs such as medical assistance,low cost spay/neuter surgery, and pet food.For more information, click here or call 703-777-0406.
