Communication
The Emergency Communication Center is a 24-hour-a-day component of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office that provides the management and delivery of law enforcement requests in Loudoun County. For non-emergency inquires, please call 703-777-1021. For an emergency, please dial 911.

Out of State Emergency Protective Orders
Please fax all "out of state" Emergency Protective Orders to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center at 703-771-5470 for official service. "Out of state" refers to Emergency Protective Orders originating from a state other than Virginia, requiring service on a person in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Note: Services for Fingerprinting, Criminal History Checks and Concealed Weapons Permits can also be obtained at the Dulles South Public Safety Center, 25216 Loudoun County Parkway Chantilly, VA.
Hours of Operation
The following services are provided Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. All services are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be prepared to show proof of identification for all services provided. Only government-issued identification will be accepted.
Services
You must obtain fingerprints card(s) from the company requesting you to have this done. You must show a government-issued ID, driver's license or passport. There is a $5 charge for businesses and out-of-county residents. If no card is provided, a set of cards can be provided for a $5 fee.
A local criminal history check can be obtained in person for any person living or working in Loudoun County. There is a $7 charge. You must show proper proof of identification. Please note this cannot be obtained by anyone else.

Pick up your application at the Sheriff's Office or the Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Bring your completed application, filled out in black ink only, with your driver's license and proof of training for new applications or your old permit for renewals.

A criminal history check and driver's transcript will be run while you wait.

You will be given a sealed packet to return to the Circuit Court with a $40 fee. The Circuit Court does not accept packets after 4:00 p.m. Please allow enough time for processing.

You should receive your permit within a few weeks.

Massage Technician and Massage Therapist permits are available. If applying for a Massage Therapist permit, you must show proof of a valid state board certification.

A criminal history check will be processed and in most cases, the permit will be issued the same day.

You must provide proper proof of identification.

There is a $200 fee for original permits and $100 fee for renewals if the permit is not expired. This permit is valid for one (1) year.

- Copy of your Accident Report
Requests for copies of accident reports can be made either in person or by mail. To request a copy by mail, send a letter along with a self-addressed stamped envelope. To request a copy in person, you must show proof of identification. Copies of reports are only released to individuals listed on the report and/or the insurance company of the insured. There is a $10 fee for businesses and out-of-county residents.

Copies of offense reports are not released unless so ordered by the court, however a summery sheet can be provided to only victims/complainants and insurance companies with proper identification. There is a $10 fee for businesses and out-of-county residents. |
