The Woods Road Project
The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has included the relocation of a portion of The Woods Road (Route 771) in the Fiscal Year 2009-Fiscal Year 2014 Secondary Road Six-Year Plan. The relocation is required by the state Solid Waste Facility permit held by the county and the conditions of approval of a Special Exception approved in 1993.
The road is in close proximity to the current Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility, the Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve and easements held by the Virginia Outdoors Foundation.
