The Community Support Unit (CSU) is a locally funded program that offers emergency and supportive assistance to the residents of Loudoun County.

Social workers in this program can aid with housing and rent, access to medical and dental visits, prescriptions, utility assistance, food, and many other needs.

This program serves as the liaison to many other community resources, such as the Adult Dental Clinic; the Lions’ Club Vision Program, the Transitional Housing Program and the faith community.  To receive assistance, you must qualify based on income the nature of the emergency, and the availability of resources. You will be asked to show verification of income, job status and other documentation as needed per your situation.
