Background on Potomac-Sterling Outreach Project
The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors initiated an 8-month Potomac-Sterling Community Outreach Project and used the findings and suggestions offered by residents to help identify the framework for the development of strategies that may lead to any number of initiatives within the Potomac and Sterling communities.
In response to the community input, the Board of Supervisors created an Ad Hoc Committee to review the strategies presented in the final report of the outreach project and make recommendations on moving forward with these strategies. The Ad Hoc Committee completed its work at its April 14th meeting. You can find more information on the Committee's actions and discussions here.
One of the key aspects of community outreach is communication. Citizens frequently described a need for better access to information from the county, especially on the website. This webpage has been established to serve as a centralized place to find links to many topics of interest and applicability to the Potomac and Sterling Communities.
This web page will continue to be updated as new information becomes available, as additional committee and community meetings are scheduled, and as other discussions take place. Please check back frequently.
