Office of Public Information

The Office of Public Information coordinates the communication of information for the county government and promotes community relations and volunteerism.

The Public Information Office responds to requests for information from the news media, produces news releases, informational brochures, and other publications; manages the content of the Loudoun County website; assists other county departments and agencies in developing and carrying out public information strategies; coordinates internal communication within the county government; and oversees Loudoun County's cable television and open video system franchises.

The Community Relations program conducts community outreach activities and promotes volunteerism through the recruitment and placement of volunteers and the management of such programs as Leadership Loudoun and the Volunteer Loudoun program.
