Building Code and Appeals Board

General Purpose

The Building Code and Appeals Board handles appeals of decisions of Loudoun building officials concerning application of the Building Code or refusal to grant modifications to the provisions of the Code covering the manner of construction of materials to be used in the erection or, alteration of a building or structure.

Members

There are nine members appointed at-large by the Board of Supervisors. Members should have a background in the building industry.

The board meets as needed.
