Bull Run Alcohol Safety Action Program

General Purpose

The Bull Run Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP) Policy Board strives to improve highway safety by helping to reduce the incidence of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs through local user-funded specific deterrence programs of education and treatment for DUI offenders, and through general deterrence programs for the public at large in coordination with regional and statewide efforts. The efforts to reduce driving under the influence are directed through these program components: enforcement, adjudication, case management and offender intervention, public information and evaluation certification.
