You probably want to answer "no", but many businesses and organizations generate some hazardous wastes that may be flammable, toxic, corrosive, or reactive. If you do, it is very important to dispose of these wastes in a way that protects human health and the environment -- and complies with all federal, state, and local regulations. What is the Business Hazardous Waste Program? The Business Hazardous Waste program is a partnership between the Loudoun County Division of Waste Management and county businesses and organizations that provides the opportunity to dispose of small quantities of hazardous wastes in an environmentally responsible manner. There are two events scheduled each year, one in the spring and one in the fall, for eligible businesses. The events are held at the Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility, 21101 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg. The most recent event was Thursday, October 15, 2009. When the date for the spring 2010 event is established, it will be posted here, so please check back.
