Welcome to the Philomont Community Center!

We're located in the small village of Philomont just 10 miles south of Purcellville and 6 miles west of Bluemont.

The center offers preschool programs, both educational and recreational; holds many annual special events; and operates an after school childcare facility for elementary school-age children.

The center has a friendly and dedicated staff. The center serves and welcomes the public and offers unique small town characteristics to the growing community.

Licensed Preschool

A variety of preschool classes are offered for children ages 2-5. These classes operate on a two-to-three-day schedule per week with both morning and afternoon sessions available. CASA, a county-operated after-school childcare program, is also offered to elementary age children in the Banneker School District.

Philomont Community Center Advisory Board

The Philomont Community Center Advisory Board consists of dedicated members supporting the community center with special events and fund-raisers on a volunteer basis. Through the support of the Advisory Board a beautiful picnic pavilion has been built along with a wonderful basketball court which is enjoyed by of all. Also, the renovation of a storage building on the premises was completed recently. With the support of the Advisory Board the community center thrives.
