Another Successful Bike to Work Day!
Thanks to all those who braved less-than-ideal weather conditions to participate in the 2018 Bike to Work Day event on May 18, 2018, which was proclaimed Bike to Work Day in Loudoun County by the Board of Supervisors.

Loudoun County hosted two pit stop celebrations - in Leesburg and Sterling adjacent to the Washington and Old Dominion (W&OD) Trail, where registrants could pick-up free T-shirts, receive giveaways, enjoy refreshments, and win prizes.

Bike to Work Day is coordinated regionally by the Washington Area Bicyclist Association and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. The event is held rain or shine.

The local festivities are planned by Loudoun County Commuter Services. Anyone seeking more information may contact Judy Galen, the local coordinator, at 703-737-8044 or by email.
