Before School Program
The Before School Program for children in grades K-5 is only available at Little River Elementary School and select community centers. The program operates from 6:30 a.m. until the start of the morning school session.

County After School Activities (CASA) Program
PRCS provides an after-school program for elementary school-age students at Loudoun County Public Schools and select community centers. The program begins at the end of the school day and closes at 6:00 p.m. or 6:15 p.m., depending upon the location.

Mission
The mission of the CASA Program is to provide safe, excellent, before-and-after-school programs for children in grades K-5.

Overview
The primary purpose of the programs is to provide safe, accountable, fun, recreational activities to children of working parents. The activities are designed to enhance recreation, behavior, social and physical skills. They are child-centered and child-directed and are planned and developed to meet the individual child's special needs or interests.

Parents are encouraged to take an active role by volunteering at sites and participating in special family events. Our programs strive to be responsive to the needs of the children, families, and communities we serve. An overview of CASA is included in our Children's Programs welcome video.

Eligibility
Children must be at least 5 years old or enrolled in grades K-5.

Dates
The CASA and the Before-School Programs follow the Loudoun County Public School schedule. The programs are not open on school holidays, teacher workdays, or days when school closes early. At selected sites, camp programs may be available all day on school holidays. Please check the current Activity Guide for details.
