About the W.O.R.K. Program
The WORK Program provides an additional step in the graduated sanctions available to youth and adults who are assigned community service hours by the courts. The W.O.R.K. Program is a supervised community service program that develops and manages opportunities for required community service hours fulfillment in and around Loudoun parks and community centers.
How To Register For The W.O.R.K. Program
Step 1: Ensure that the individual registering for the W.O.R.K. Program, and his/her parent(s)/guardian(s) if under 18, each have a valid email address. Free email accounts can be created on a number of websites. Loudoun County Public School (LCPS) students are eligible for “Microsoft Office 365 Student” at no cost, which includes Microsoft Outlook email. More information on registering for Office 365 Student can be found here on the LCPS website.
Step 2: Complete the Loudoun County W.O.R.K. Program registration form linked below. If the individual registering for the W.O.R.K. Program is under the age of 18, be sure to have his/her parent(s)/guardian(s) assist in completing the registration form as a parent/guardian signature is required.
Step 3: Check the email account(s) that were documented on the W.O.R.K. Program registration form to ensure that the individual has been successfully enrolled in the W.O.R.K. Program. Just because an individual has completed a W.O.R.K. Program registration form does not mean the individual has been successfully enrolled! All registration forms are individually reviewed by the W.O.R.K. Program coordinator for accuracy and validity. Individuals submitting the W.O.R.K. program registration form should double-check all of the completed fields for accuracy before clicking submit.
Individuals who have submitted the W.O.R.K. program registration form should receive a final email confirmation of W.O.R.K. Program enrollment or rejection within (5) business days. Documented error(s) such as incomplete or invalid/inaccurate fields on the registration form will result in form rejection, requiring the individual to resubmit a new registration form. If it has been over (5) business days (Monday - Friday not including holidays) check your "spam" or "junk" folder. If you still do not see a W.O.R.K. program registration update, contact W.O.R.K. Program Coordinator Stu Younkin by email.
Step 4: Once an individual has received confirmation of successful W.O.R.K Program enrollment, he/she should continue to regularly check the email account(s) that were documented on the W.O.R.K Program registration form. Program site placement and scheduling will be confirmed via email. Failure to comply these messages and W.O.R.K. Program operational guidelines will result in removal from the W.O.R.K. Program.
