Energy Efficiency & Conservation Program
The Loudoun County Energy Efficiency & Conservation Program provides leadership, guidance, education and technical expertise to reduce energy consumption, improve energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, and facilitate energy conservation in county facilities and in the community.
Goals of the Energy Program 
Loudoun County is involved in a wide range of efforts to reduce the county government's energy consumption, improve energy efficiency, and raise awareness about energy conservation. Efforts include:
- Saving the county money by analyzing utility rate schedules and riders, identifying billing anomalies and discrepancies, promoting employee energy conservation measures, evaluating utility infrastructure proposals for new County facilities, and negotiating utility rates as a member of the Virginia Energy Purchasing Governmental Association;
