Holiday Coalition
Since 1996, the Community Holiday Coalition "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" program has helped thousands of Loudoun County families have a wonderful holiday season.
In 2011, We were able to serve 1,207 families at the distribution. Thanks to our generous donors, the Holiday Coalition provided more than 2,600 children with new toys, clothing, filled stockings and much more! Over 220 seniors were provided warm clothing and blankets and 159 adults with disabilities were also provided with winter clothing and more. Thanks to all who made this possible. We hope you will help us with the 2012 program, so please check back later in 2012!
Both the Thanksgiving Program and Christmas Program bring together people from all walks of life: those who need assistance and those who want to help. Each year nearly 1,000 volunteers and donors come together to "brighten up the holidays" for low-income Loudoun County residents.
These programs are supported by the community -- churches, schools, businesses, clubs and civic organizations, youth groups, and concerned individuals. They make it possible to bring the "magic" of the holiday season to so many in our community.
