Information About In-Person Absentee Voting
An in-person absentee voter visits an absentee office location to vote. In Loudoun County, there are two locations: the Voter Registration office in Leesburg and the Cascades Senior Center in Sterling. Arriving voters complete the Absentee Ballot Application and provide appropriate identification. The Absentee Ballot Application is processed there and voting takes place on a voting machine just as is done on election day.

Absentee in-person voting begins approximately 45 days prior to a general election and ends at 5:00 pm on the Saturday before election day. The date of the next election and other information is online:

Absentee Voting Hours
Extended hours for absentee voting in Leesburg are offered at 750 Miller Drive, S.E., Suite C, Leesburg, 20175, prior to an election.

Satellite absentee voting is also offered prior to all November Elections at the Cascades Senior Center, 21060 Whitfield Place, Sterling, 20165 and the Dulles South Multipurpose Center, 24950 Riding Center Drive, South Riding, 20152.

Both the Cascades Senior Center and Dulles South Multipurpose Center absentee locations will be open one week prior to the November elections only from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and maintain Saturday hours as well.  More specific info on hours can be obtained by visiting the webpage for the specific election you are interested in.  To view this years election schedule and find links to individual election pages click here.
