250th Anniversary Program & First Friday Exhibitions

 exhibits

The Circuit Court Clerk’s Office hosted several 250th Anniversary programs in 2007. The final one of the year was held in November to coincide with the Town of Leesburg’s First Friday program on November 2.

On November 2, the clerk’s office recognized Loudoun’s veterans of foreign wars by displaying important court records pertaining to veterans of the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War I, World War II and the Vietnam War. This follows the October 2 event which focused on the many historical documents housed at the Loudoun County Courthouse.

The Clerk's Office has put together highlights of the various 250th anniversary programs held in 2007. Click on a link to see the highlights of each event. They require the free Adobe Reader, which may be downloaded here.
