James (Jim) G. Bonfils has been selected as the interim Broad Run District supervisor. His appointment came September 21, 2015, during a special meeting of the Board of Supervisors. He was sworn in on September 22, 2015, in a ceremony conducted by Clerk of the Circuit Court Gary Clemens at the Loudoun County Courthouse.
Bonfils will serve on the Board's Economic Development Committee and the Finance, Government Services and Operations Committee. Bonfils’ term will end December 31, 2015.
The candidate who is elected as Broad Run District Supervisor in the November general election will take office on January 1, 2016.
Jim Bonfils is an active community volunteer. A sales professional in the technology field, Bonfils is a founding board member and treasurer of Loudoun Youth, Inc., which grew out of the Loudoun County Youth Initiative and which coordinates community resources to help develop youth programs and to create leadership opportunities for youth.
