In addition to typical office items such as computers, desks, and chairs, the store features unclaimed items confiscated by the Sheriff's Office, such as bicycles, sporting equipment, and digital media. Loudoun County is now selling selected surplus inventory on the Internet through an online auction
company called Public Surplus. Items available for online auction include, but are not limited to, county vehicles, computer laptops, computer equipment, and a variety of other miscellaneous surplus items. . Note: As of February 1, 2014, Loudoun County has converted to online payment for the online auction. Payment may only be made online by credit card or by wire transfer. Public Processing, LLC, a third-party payment processing company, will receive and process all payments for the county's online surplus sales. No cash, checks, or money orders will be accepted at time of online auction pickup at 14 Cardinal Park Drive, Leesburg.
Surplus Store Hours, Location & Phone
- Hours: The Surplus Store is open from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the 3rd Friday of each month. The Surplus Store will continue to accept cash and personal checks (with valid driver’s license) as acceptable forms of payment.
