Creating Community Through People, Parks & Programs...

Since 1966, PRCS has worked to meet Loudoun residents’ needs for recreation, leisure and supportive community programs.

The department manages an integrated network of facilities including active and passive parks, trails, community, recreation and senior centers, adult day centers, pools, historic sites, a nature preserve, and a fine arts center. Through a cooperative effort with Loudoun County Public Schools, the department offers additional programs at school sites.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide outstanding recreational and leisure opportunities, outcome-focused community services, and stewardship of our natural resources to promote quality of life for Loudoun’s residents and visitors.
