About the Center
We have a full-time staff of six people and we share our building with the Sterling Library, located off Sterling Boulevard, next door to the Sterling Fire Department.

The Sterling Community Center first began serving the citizens of Loudoun County in 1977. Our center has grown along with the expanding population of the county. Our facilities include an air-conditioned gymnasium, a large conference room, smaller classroom, a teen room, and a kitchen. All of these rooms are available for rental.

There is a park featuring a playground and picnic tables. We offer a variety of programs for preschoolers through seniors as well as trips, summer camps, and special events. The gymnasium has open times for drop-in basketball and volleyball. Our facilities are also available for rent for birthday parties, team practices, etc. The center hosts the annual event, Sterlingfest.

Sterling Advisory Board
The Sterling Advisory Board consists of a group of local citizens who help make decisions for the center that will best serve our community. For several years they have been a major sponsor of Sterlingfest along with Sterling Foundation and Sterling Playmakers. If you are interested in becoming involved with our Advisory Board please call 703-430-9480.
