Zoning Ordinance Action Group
Roles & Responsibilities
The ZOAG was created for the purpose of supporting the Board of Supervisors, the Planning Commission and Loudoun County Staff in identifying, reviewing, recommending, and preparing amendments to the Revised 1993 Loudoun County Zoning Ordinance in order to:
  • Correct errors and inconsistencies
  • Clarify regulations
  • Make the Zoning Ordinance more user friendly
  • Keep the Zoning Ordinance current to reflect changes in market conditions and the emergence of new issues
  • Notify the Board of Supervisors when proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments are inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan
