The mission of the Loudoun County Post-Dispositional Detention Program (PDP) is to provide a disciplinary alternative to commitment through community-based programming and services to affect pro-social change on the part of the youth placed in the program. The PDP is a multi-disciplinary alternative to commitment to a Department of Juvenile Justice correctional institution.
The PDP Team includes trained staff from the Juvenile Detention Center, the Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services (MHSADS), Loudoun County Public School teachers assigned to the PDP, and the JCSU.
