Loudoun Targets Lyme: Resources for Children

Children can play an important role in preventing the spread of Lyme disease.

Loudoun County has several online resources designed for children to help them learn about Lyme disease and to learn about what they can do to help prevent Lyme disease. These include Kids Activity Pages, which include a word puzzle, connect-the-dots, a maze and "Tic-Tac-Toe-Tick-Must-Go." Also online is a 28-page, color-illustrated storybook, "Ricky Beats the Birthday Bites."

The Kids Activity Pages for Lyme Disease can be printed as two separate pages or as a double-sided document.

One side includes several "Did You Know" illustrations about Lyme Disease and a "Circle the Places Where Ticks Like to Hide" illustration.

Ricky Beats the Birthday Bites is an informative, illustrated 28-page booklet designed to help children learn about ways to prevent Lyme Disease.
