Loudoun County Zoning Administration is working on a number of Zoning Ordinance Amendments (ZOAMs) to the Revised 1993 Loudoun County Zoning Ordinance.

ZOAM-2020-0002 | To amend the cluster residential development standards in the Agricultural Rural-1 and Agricultural Rural-2 zoning districts to protect and conserve agriculturally productive Prime Farmland Soils and further implement the clustered rural residential development policies of the 2019 Comprehensive Plan. | The Board of Supervisors approved a Resolution of Intent to Amend the Revised 1993 Zoning Ordinance on June 21, 2022. At the September 14, 2023, Planning Commission Work Session, ZOAM-2020-0002 was forwarded to a future Work Session for further review and discussion. The ZOAM is tentatively scheduled to be back before the Planning Commission for their December 14, 2023, Work Session. Story maps continue to be available on GeoHub. |
