Service Changes for Loudoun County Transit

Premium Commuter Bus Service Change on Friday, October 18, 2019

Due to road closures for the IMF/World Bank meetings, customers are advised of the following scheduled service changes to the Premium Commuter Bus Service on Friday, October 18, 2019 and should anticipate delays:

  • Commuter buses will not pick up for the afternoon commute at the 19th & H Street NW stop on any bus route. This includes the midday bus - 800D.
  • The closest alternative stops for those who normally board at 19th & H Street NW are:
    •  I & 19th Street NW (on I Street - NW corner at the Metro Bus Stop at the Presidential Plaza Building)
    • 19th & E Street NW (on 19th Street - NW corner near Mitchell Hall Dormitory near the 7/11)

Limited Bus Service Schedules on Monday, November 11, 2019 – Veterans’ Day

Customers are advised of the following scheduled service changes to Premium Commuter Bus Service and Metro Connection Bus Service on Monday, November 11, 2019:

Premium Commuter Bus Service

  • Premium Commuter Bus Service into Rosslyn, Crystal City and Washington DC will operate on very limited schedules.

Metro Connection Bus Service

  • Metro Connection Bus Service to the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station will operate on very limited schedules.
  • There will be no service from Potomac Falls to the West Fall Church Metro Station.

Metro Silver Line Service Changes November 9-11, 2019

Customers are advised of the following scheduled service changes to Metro's Silver Line: 

  • The Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station will be closed November 9-11, 2019.
  • Trains will operate at regular weekend intervals (every 12-15 minutes) from the Spring Hill Metro Station.
  • Due to Silver Line phase 2 tie-in, free shuttle buses will replace Silver Line trains between the Spring Hill Metro Station and the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station.

There will be no changes to the Route 84 schedule.
