Service Changes for Loudoun County Transit

COVID-19 Transit Impacts: Bus Service Changes to Begin Monday, March 30, 2020

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has approved changes to Loudoun County Transit service until further notice, effective March 30, 2020. Read the news release.

Operational Changes for Ongoing Bus Services

  • Fares have been suspended on all routes for at least 60 days in order to reduce interactions between passengers and drivers, as well as to eliminate the need for transit staff and drivers to handle cash.
  • Loudoun County Transit will load passengers through the rear door, when possible, to meet social distancing protocols.

Premium Commuter Bus Service

  • Premium Commuter Bus Service to and from Washington DC, Rosslyn, Crystal City and the Pentagon is suspended until further notice. No buses will run.

Metro Connection Bus Service

  • Routes 901/902: Potomac Falls to and from the Ballston Metrorail Station - Morning and afternoon service will be reduced to three trips. View the temporary schedule.
  • Routes 923/924: Goose Creek Village/Broadlands to and from the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station - Service will be reduced to 5 trips in the morning and 4 trips in the afternoon. View the temporary schedule.
  • Routes 925/926: Loudoun Station to and from the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station - Morning and afternoon service will be reduced to six trips. View the temporary schedule.
  • Route 88X: Dulles South/East Gate and from the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station - Morning and afternoon service will be reduced to four trips. View the temporary schedule.
  • Route 87X: Dulles Town Center Park and Ride to Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station - There is no schedule change.
  • Routes 931/932: Purcellville Park and Ride to and from the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station - There is no schedule change.
  • Routes 921/922: Harmony and Leesburg Park and Ride lots to and from the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station - Service has been suspended until further notice. No buses will run.

Local Fixed Route Bus Service

Local Fixed Route Bus Service will continue to run on normal schedules. There is no schedule change

ADA/Paratransit Bus Service Local Fixed Route Bus Service

Local fixed route bus service will continue to run on normal schedules. There is no schedule change
