Landfill Recycling Center

About the Landfill Recycling Facilities

Located four miles south of downtown Leesburg, the Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility provides recycling services for a variety of materials and includes the only public collection center in the county for waste motor oil, antifreeze, and automotive battery recycling.

When using the landfill, please stop by the Recycling Dropoff Center first and recycle your bottles, cans, papers, cardboard, automotive batteries and automotive fluids. Other recyclable items such as refrigerated appliances, scrap metal, yard waste, and tires are accepted inside the facility once you cross the vehicle scales for a fee.
