    Michael L. Chapman

    Mike Chapman was elected Sheriff, Loudoun County, VA in 2011 and took office January 2012. He was reelected in 2015, and began his second term in January, 2016. He directs operations for the largest full-service office in the State of Virginia which handles county-wide law enforcement, the jail and our courts. The Sheriff’s Office employs approximately 800; 600 sworn deputies and 200 civilian personnel. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office serves a population of 350,000 and an area of 519 square miles.  (Full Bio)

    Lt. Colonel Mark Poland

    Lt. Colonel Mark Poland serves as Chief Deputy of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He began his career as a Field Deputy, and served as a Major Crimes Detective, Sergeant in Patrol/Criminal Investigations/Gangs/Narcotics; as a Lieutenant in Patrol/Internal Affairs; and the Assistant Commander in the Criminal Investigations Division and the Commander in Patrol. He graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2015.

    Major Michael Cox

    Major Mike Cox is the Commander of the Corrections and Court Services Division. He joined the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in 1995. He successfully achieved each supervisory rank to include Sergeant, 2nd Lieutenant, 1stLieutenant, and Captain-Assistant Division Commander. He has successfully completed executive leadership training through the FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association, the Professional Executive Leadership School and the Southern Police Institute.

    Major Christopher Hines

    Major Christopher Hines joined the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in 1994 and serves as the Commander of the Field Operations Division. He began his career as a Corrections Deputy, and served as a Patrol Deputy, Criminal Investigator, School Resource Officer, and Crime Scene Investigator. He has held the supervisory ranks of Sergeant, 2nd Lieutenant, 1stLieutenant, Assistant Station Commander, Station Commander, and Assistant Division Commander. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.

    Major Eric Prugh

    Major Eric Prugh serves as the Commander of Administrative Technical Services Division. He began his career as a Field Deputy, and served as a; Sergeant in Patrol; Lieutenant of the Community Resource Unit; the Dulles South Station Commander; and the  Assistant Commander in the Criminal Investigations Division. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the US Army Command and General Staff College.

    Major Bobby Miller

    Major Bobby Miller serves as the Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division. He began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in 1996, as a Field Deputy and Field Training Officer before becoming a Major Crimes Detective. Within both Field Operations and the Criminal Investigations Divisions, he has held the supervisory ranks of Sergeant, 2ndLieutenant, Assistant Station Commander, Station Commander, and Assistant Division Commander. He graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2018.

    Major Rudolph Landon

    Major Rudy Landon serves as the Commander of Operational Support Division. He joined the Loudoun County Sheriff’s in 1989 and began his career as a Corrections Deputy, and then served as a Field Deputy, Sergeant in Patrol/Criminal Investigations/Gangs; as a Lieutenant in the Field/Operational Support Division; and as the Assistant Station Commander in the Field Operations Division and as Assistant Commander in the Operational Support Division.
