This project will design and construct a new community center building in the Town of Lovettsville, replacing the existing building.
The new Community Center will be over 18,500 square feet and will have a full court gymnasium, a fitness room, a dedicated seniors area, as well as five classrooms, a kitchen, restrooms, and meeting spaces.
The project also includes a 600-square-foot addition and renovation to the existing 1,200-square-foot pool house. The pool house renovations were completed and opened to the public in May 2022.
Current Status: September 2022
Loudoun County held a ribbon cutting on August 31, 2022 to celebrate the completion of the new Lovettsville Community Center building.
The facility has been turned over to Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) for programming. Although the center will open, crews will continue work at the site to demolish the old community center building and to construct a new parking lot. For safety and as this is an active construction site, no tresspassing is allowed in sectioned-off construction areas.
