Leesburg South Fire and Rescue Station

Project Overview


This project will design and construct a new 26,000 square foot Fire and Rescue and Hazmat facility on a five-acre site at the intersection of Evergreen Mills Road and The Woods Road in Leesburg.

The Leesburg South Fire, Rescue and Hazmat station will have five bays to house an engine, ambulance, tanker, and hazmat and command officer vehicles, and will include a training room and hazmat response storage area.

Estimated Timeline:

  • Summer 2023 – Fall 2023: 100% Design Plans
  • Winter 2024 – Award Contract - Construction
  • Spring 2024 – Notice to Proceed - Construction
  • Spring 2024 – Spring 2025: Construction
  • Spring 2025 – Substantial Completion
