About AlertMe

The Loudoun County Clerk of the Circuit Court is offering the notification platform AlertMe to citizens of Loudoun County. AlertMe is a voluntary system that notifies users when a document containing their name has been recorded within Land Records kept in the office of the Clerk. Notifications are provided by email or text message at the preference of the user; message and data rates may apply and are not the responsibility of the Clerk of the Circuit Court.

The Loudoun County Clerk of the Circuit Court does not own, develop, or maintain this system. Users rely on the AlertMe system at their own risk. No warrantee is provided by the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Office of the Clerk, or the County of Loudoun with respect to the information provided through the AlertMe system, nor is the accuracy of the information guaranteed. 

How to Sign Up

Simply register your e-mail with the AlertMe system and follow the provided instructions.

* By registering your e-mail with AlertMe, you agree that Clerk of the Circuit Court Gary M. Clemens, the Office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, the County of Loudoun, and DTS are not responsible for any damages that may be incurred by you because of the use of the AlertMe system, or reliance upon the information provided. Official Circuit Court records are available for inspection between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

What to do if you suspect fraud

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office has a website with more information on  Fraud. If you suspect fraudulent activity concerning your land record, you are encouraged to contact the  Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
