Support Homeless Pets

Your contributions make a positive difference in the lives of homeless pets! By giving to LCAS or the Friends of LCAS, you will help enrich the lives of homeless pets and help LCAS find adoptive homes for pets in need.

Become a donor by giving financially or providing supplies to enrich the lives of shelter pets as they wait for caring homes. LCAS is a 170c organization (the government equivalent of a 501c3), your donations to LCAS are tax deductible!

Give Supplies & Treats!

Order and ship directly to the LCAS animal shelter through our Amazon Wish List or deliver supplies to the shelter during any of our business hours. The most needed supplies are:

  • Small, moist treats for dogs and cats
  • Extra large, extra strong chew toys for dogs
  • Squeaky dog toys and soft cat toys or catnip
  • Collars and leeashes (safety collars for cats and martingale collars for dogs, please!)
  • Neonate kitten supplies (kitten formula and bottles)

Give Pet Food for the Loudoun Pet Pantry!

We're always in need of small bags (under 10lbs) of dry dog and cat food as well as canned dog and cat for the Pet Pantry Program. Pet Pantry is a partnership between Loudoun Hunger, the Humane Society of Loudoun County, and LCAS. Together, we pack over 300 kits of dog and cat food each month for families in need. The program helps keep families together and allows pets to stay with their owners. Read more about the Pet Pantry program!

All donated food must be unopened and unexpired. Please consider giving expired or opened food bags to wildlife rehabilitation centers like the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center.
