Construction is progressing on the Waterford Mill Restoration Project in the Village of Waterford. Crews working to stabilize and restore the historic mill have begun interior masonry and carpentry work. In the last several weeks, crews began rebuilding the stone wall which will serve as support for the mill’s framing. Work to shape the timbers that will serve as the mill’s framing is also underway.

This project provides for the structural stabilization of the Waterford Mill and the addition of accessibility features to allow the use of the mill for educational and cultural enrichment programs. Construction is estimated to be complete in summer 2023.
