Loudoun County Update

Loudoun County Public Library Extends Hours, Expands Services: Loudoun County Public Library is announcing the resumption of numerous services as COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted. Details include:
- All branches are now open Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Branches are operating at 100 percent capacity.
- In-person programs are scheduled at all branches. Virtual programs continue to be offered. Visit library.loudoun.gov/calendar for the complete schedule.
- Meeting rooms and study rooms are open.
- Customers may return items 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Makerspaces are available by appointment.
- Book donations are accepted on a branch-by-branch basis. Customers are encouraged to contact their local branch for more information.
- Curbside Pickup Service remains available at all branches during open hours.

Next COVID-19 Testing Event is June 8: Loudoun County will hold another free, drive-thru COVID-19 testing event Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Franklin Park, 17501 Franklin Park Drive, Purcellville (Follow signs to the baseball field parking lot.) This is one of several testing events scheduled for Tuesdays in June. Details, including the complete schedule and links to required registration forms that can be filled out in advance, may be found at loudoun.gov/covid19testing.
