  1. "Bee" Outdoors Festival

    June 24, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve

    Summer in the Reeks presents the 2017 "Bee" Outdoors Festival featuring everything you want to know about the wonderful world of nature's pollinators and much more! All ages can enjoy guided hikes, demonstrations, live music, presentations, games and activities, a cat-fishing derby and pollinator crafts. Demonstrations include honey bee hives, live raptors, nature art, resource management using goats, an archaeology dig and more. The festival takes place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve, 21085 The Woods Road, Leesburg, VA. Admission is free!

  2. Great American Backyard Campout

    June 24, 4:00 PM @ Franklin Park

    On June 24, thousands of people across the nation will gather in neighborhoods, communities and parks for this annual event to celebrate and connect with nature. Join our celebration in Loudoun as we share songs, stories, games, activities and food before camping out in the park! Registration fee includes campsite, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and fun activities throughout the evening! You must provide your own tent, sleeping bag and personal camping equipment. This event is recommended for ages four and older.
