Anyone looking for an affordable place to live in Northern Virginia should plan to visit the Northern Virginia Housing Expo Saturday, March 18, 2017, in Loudoun. The event is from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Dominion High School, 21326 Augusta Drive in Sterling. The theme of the free event is “Housing Opportunities for All.”

The expo will showcase both homeownership and rental opportunities and resources throughout Northern Virginia and will feature a dozen workshops as well as many exhibits and one-on-one credit counseling. The workshops will focus on personal finance, rental resources and homebuying resources.

Staff from the Loudoun County Department of Family Services will be on hand to share information on Loudoun County programs for renters and homebuyers.

Loudoun County is partnering with regional agencies to host the expo, which is sponsored by the Fairfax-based nonprofit AHOME Foundation in cooperation with the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA), the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church, the counties of Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun, and the Town of Herndon.

Details about the event as well as links to resources geared toward homebuyers and renters in Loudoun County are online at www.loudoun.gov/housingexpo. More information also is available by calling 571-294-8536.
