Loudoun County is holding a public information meeting regarding the design of roadway improvements to the intersection of Braddock Road and Supreme Drive/Summerall Drive from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Pinebrook Elementary School, 25480 Mindful Court in Aldie.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the community to review and comment on the plans for the road improvements. The meeting will be conducted in an open forum format. Representatives of the Loudoun County Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure (DTCI) and ATCS, the design consultant on the project, will be available to describe the project in detail and to answer questions.
The proposed roadway improvements include the construction of a traffic signal and turn lanes at the intersection of Braddock Road and Supreme Drive/Summerall Drive and the widening of a section of Braddock Road from Crested Wheat Drive to Foley Headwaters Street. Braddock road is to be widened from the existing two lanes to four lanes with a ten-foot wide, shared-use path on the westbound side.
More information about the project is available by contacting Suheili Perez of DTCI by email or calling 703-777-0396.
