With winter here, Loudoun County officials remind residents that the county offers home improvement and repair programs that can help qualified homeowners weatherize their homes. The programs can help make homes more energy efficient through weatherization repairs such as installing a new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit, a new roof or new windows.
Repairs and renovations also may include correcting code violations, addressing health and safety issues, making repairs to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and interior and exterior components. All work is performed by licensed, bonded and insured contractors.
