Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that occurred in the Sterling Park community early Monday morning.
The victim reported he was confronted by an unknown male who exited a vehicle driven by a second suspect in the 1400 block of N. Dinwiddie Street. The suspect reportedly tried to take the victim’s cell phone and when the victim attempted to flee he was assaulted with a possible knife.
The victim fled to homes in the area of W. Charlotte Street where he knocked on several doors before passersby stopped to provide him assistance. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the assault around 2:30 a.m.
The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male wearing a blue striped shirt with blue baggie shorts. He was further described as being 5’8” tall, with a heavy build, and approximately 25-years-old.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
