As July 4th festivities approach, the Loudoun County Fire Marshal’s Office wants you to begin planning for a safe holiday. In 2017, U.S. hospital emergency rooms treated an estimated 12,900 people for fireworks related injuries. Children younger than 15 years of age accounted for more than one-third of those injuries.* Remember, the safest way to enjoy fireworks is to attend a public display conducted by trained professionals!
If you choose to use fireworks, PROCEED WITH CAUTION and follow these safety tips!
