FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 

UPDATE: Jean Patrick Montano has been located safe and is being returned to his family. The LCSO would like to thank the community for their assistance. 

PREVIOUS RELEASE: 

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing Sterling boy who was last seen in the area of Marble Terrace in Sterling this afternoon.

Jean Patrick Montano is 11-years-old and goes by the name J.P. He was last seen today at 4:30 p.m. when he ran from his residence. He was later reported missing to the LCSO. He is considered endangered due to mental and/or physical health concerns. 

He is described as being 5’3”, 135 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black Adidas windbreaker with white stripes on the sleeves, a white shirt, and white shorts with black and red stripes on the sides. 

Anyone with any information regarding J.P.’s possible whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021 or dial 911.
