The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging is starting a new monthly activity program for individuals recently diagnosed with a cognitive disorder and their care partners. "Early Birds in the Park" provides:
- A safe, accepting social environment.
- Therapeutic physical activities and creative stimulation guided by professional staff.
- A spirit of community through fun and friendship.
Early Birds, hosted by the Eastern Loudoun Adult Day Center, is held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month from May through September at Bles Park, 44830 Bles Park Drive, Ashburn, Virginia 20147. Participants are encouraged to bring a chair, hat, water, sun protection and insect repellant. Safety protocols will be in place. The program is free; however, advance registration is required.
