The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) and Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure announce the opening of Potomac Green Neighborhood Park in Ashburn, Virginia. The park will open to the public following removal of the construction fencing originally scheduled for Monday, July 12, 2021. The fencing is now scheduled to be removed Wednesday, July 14.
“We’re excited about the recreational opportunities this new Ashburn area park offers residents and visitors,” stated PRCS Director Steve Torpy. The 28-acre facility, dedicated to the county by Toll Brothers, provides outdoor amenities for all ages, including the following:
- ADA-accessible multipurpose trail
- Rectangle fields for soccer, football and lacrosse
- Baseball field
- ADA accessible restroom
- Concession kiosk
- Shaded bleachers
- Open plaza
- Fitness area
- Horseshoe pit
- Off-leash area for dogs
- Tennis/pickleball court
- Bocce ball court
