Loudoun County invites members of the community to attend a public information meeting about the Dulles South Community Park project Thursday, October 26, 2023, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Gum Spring Library, Meeting Room A, 24600 Millstream Drive in Stone Ridge. Following an informative presentation, meeting attendees will be invited to review exhibits, ask questions and submit comments.
Public meeting materials, including a comment form, are available for review at loudoun.gov/DullesSouthPark.
This project provides funding for a community park adjacent to Lightridge High School that will include passive and active recreation. Passive areas may include playgrounds, picnic areas, trails, wooded areas and streams. Active areas may include cricket fields, baseball/softball fields or large rectangular fields. In addition, the park will include field lighting, fencing, site utilities, parking and site access from the public road. It will also include landscaping, public restrooms, concessions, groundwater wells for irrigation, irrigation, playground, storage, picnic pavilions, bleachers and signage.
